I believe it will take more than two inputs, an entire hand.

Picture a coffee table with one of these inside (a huge one). You could have a large number of people using it at the same time--You could take what you are browsing, flip it and throw it at someone else with just a few finger movements.

I also think small clear/colored blocks of different shapes would make nice pointers, just slide them around the table to do different operations, everyone gets their own. You could possibly even include RFID so that your pointer has your security level.

There are so many things that can be done once we get away from this mouse/keyboard/screen concept.

Forget about pointers with RFID for security, just read the user's fingerprint while their fingers are pressing against the glass :-)
