why ? i have seen your testNG source code and also know from your resume that you have worked on weblogic server code etc. I am sure you can code *anything*

Your example is image I/O, and you are definitely cut out for that.

I used to write graphics code in GL (pre-OpenGL) in C back in the early nineties. I do *not* miss pointer arithmetic.
