Oracle is not kidding when they acquire a company, and Sun is no exception. They are actively replacing every single instance of “Sun” and Sun owned companies (such as MySQL) with “Oracle” everywhere.

In this case it looks more like the post itself didn’t change, but Mark just changed the signature that is displayed below the postings.

Updating one’s signature I can understand, but going back through all your older posts that you’ve ever made and updating their signature with your new employer? I’m having a hard time seeing why someone would do that unless they were asked to.

Speculating, but it may be that updating your signature automatically “changes” it across every post you’ve ever made on that forum.

Signatures usually are dynamic in forums, so if he updated his signature recently all of his older posts were updated too.
