I just posted a Rubik’s cube solution that I designed to be as easy to memorize as possible. With some practice, it should allow you to solve the cube under a minute.

Your last step 2e: The animation and sequence are not in sync for the “U” turns. The steps show on the webpage show:
(R F’ R’ F) (R F’ R’ F) U (R F’ R’ F) (R F’ R’ F) (R F’ R’ F) U’
The steps shown on the webpage should be:
(R F’ R’ F) (R F’ R’ F) U’ (R F’ R’ F) (R F’ R’ F) (R F’ R’ F) U

Another find other than the “U” that is swapped. The second instance of “R F’ R’ F” is repeated 4 times on the second instance. You only show three times in your text guide, though the animation is correct. Here are the correct steps.
(R F’ R’ F) (R F’ R’ F) U’ (R F’ R’ F) (R F’ R’ F) (R F’ R’ F) (R F’ R’ F) U

Wow, this blog post is very technical for the cube solution. The people who posted their comments must have very good background of the topic at hand. Those Rs and Fs are intriguing.

Thanks for posting this. I too memorized the solutions when I was young, and then was able to straighten up almost the whole cube recently, just letting my fingers do what they remembered. But I could NOT remember how to place and orient the last corners. Once I saw your solution for how to place them, my fingers “remembered” those same steps. The way you orient the corners is different from what I learned, but so easy! So hopefully i’ll be able to remember these now!
