On Martappon, Keijder-Amtranik manages to name one of his men, Shakan, as supreme governor. When Jen Salik arrives on Martappon, he is attacked by Shakan but Anson Argyris saves Salik who reveals himself as a Knight of the Abyss. Keijder-Amtranik flees on the Vazifar.
