Rhodan names the planet Pucky's Inn and its sun Drink. The Terran commando soon finds out that the planet's gravity constantly changes between 0.3 and 2g as they are soon attacked by animals that turn out to be hallucinations. The illusions get progressively worse and they come close to killing each other.

Pucky discovers huge installations under the surface but soon after his finding, the entire crew of the shuttle falls asleep.
