The seven pirates are taken to a different planet and are now questioned by their own clones, who are still trying to find out about Garbesch's plan. In order to buy time, one of the pirates tells them that Garbesch is gathering forces in the Easter part of the Milky Way. Two clones infiltrate the group but they are soon discovered.

Meanwhile, Tifflor is leading the search for the criminals and identifies two of them on the planet Crish, in the Danvor system. Tifflor has just received reports from the scientists confirming that the space quakes shaking the galaxy with increasing violence actually originate in the hyperspace.
