Baya manages to convince the Sigans to help her fix the Helk, which has been damaged during its fight against Margor. During the operation, the Sigans are attacked by Jewellys, small creatures hidden inside the Helk by Pankha-Skrin in order to protect it. The Sigans fend off the attack, fix the Helk and realize that the mushroom is caused by their anti-detection devices.

Baya decides she wants to rescue Margor from the hyperspace bubble where he is kept prisoner.
